Summer Harvest Box (CSA) - Need to Know

  • By purchasing the Harvest Box you are committing to either the 12-week (Full), 4-week subscription for the specific month chosen, or a one-time 1-week purchase, depending on your selection

  • By participating in Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), it is important to understand that our product will be heavily influenced by growing conditions on the farm. This means that we cannot guarantee certain produce throughout the season. However, this also means that you will have access to the very unique produce that we can provide as a small-scale farm.

  • Pick-up is at the Bastion Square Market every Friday between 3pm-6pm (if you miss your pick up, we can arrange to have the box ready for pick up at Bastion Square on Saturday between 10am-1pm).

  • For orders of the 12-week (Full) box, two boxes may be missed/skipped by contacting us in advance. These boxes will be deferred to a Fall Harvest Box for pick-up in October/November (details to be confirmed)

  • For orders of 4-week (Monthly), one box may be missed/skipped by contacting us in advance. This box will be deferred to a Fall Harvest Box for pick-up in October/November (details to be confirmed)

  • Please inform us in advance if you are going to miss a box pick-up for the week. If 24-hour notice is not provided, we can't guarantee a deferred box.

  • If you need to miss a week, we always highly suggest gifting your week to a friend/co-worker - just send us a quick email to let us know someone else will be picking up.

  • If picking up at Bastion Square becomes an issue due to work obligations or moving, we're happy to work on alternative solutions to ensure you receive your box each week - so don't worry!

  • Every week, Shawn will send an email confirming the box pick-up date/time, while providing a sneak peak of what produce can be expected, and sharing some fun recipes to follow.

Payment

  • Payment can be made online using Debit/Credit, via e-transfer (shawn@troubleacre.com), or with cash or card upon pick-up.

  • Please provide payment for your full order at once (this helps us spend more time farming and less time bookkeeping). If you have any barriers to paying for the full order at once, please feel free to contact Shawn to discuss. We have rules but we break them all the time.
